The Divisional and District Administration plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, transparent, and fair conduct of examinations organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
As per the guidelines outlined in General Administration Department Circular No. 05-GAD of 2016, dated 28-01-2016 (copy enclosed), we kindly request your cooperation and support in the following areas:
- Exam Venue Arrangements:
- Please refer to Annexures A-F for the list of District-wise Exam Venues and scheduled candidates.
- Deploy necessary staff, including Observers, Magistrates, Centre Superintendents, Deputy Centre Superintendents, Invigilators, in the specified ratio of 1:24.
- Impose Section 144 in and around the examination centers.
- Security and Surveillance:
- Arrange for videography of critical events like the opening of Question Booklets and OMR Answer Sheets and the packing of used materials.
- Ensure the safe and speedy transport of examination material between the Central and District Strong Rooms under strict security.
- Hire vehicles through the concerned ARTOs for the transportation of examination material on the scheduled dates (01.12.2024, 08.12.2024, and 22.12.2024).
- Financial Considerations:
- The JKSSB will bear the costs of videography, vehicle hire, and remuneration for Centre Superintendents, Invigilators, Clerks, and MTS as per approved rates.
- Centre Superintendents may incur expenses up to Rs.1000/- per center for miscellaneous items like paper, cloth, envelopes, and sealing wax.
- Logistics and Facilities:
- Ensure adequate arrangements for drinking water, electricity, and other essential facilities at the exam centers.
